Final Project

Roundtable. Take part in a roundtable discussion focusing on the following topics:
Is gentrification good or bad? Is London still a diverse city, open to all kinds of residents? Who is responsible for the current situation?

A moderator will make sure that everyone can express their views and will help guide the discussion. 

You will role-play one of the following people, according to the role assigned by your teacher.
a real estate agent - a long-time resident - a city council member - a landlord or landlady - an anti-gentrification activist - a moderator.

a. Prepare the viewpoint you are going to defend and build your arguments according to your role and your social status.
b. Get into groups of six (5 participants + moderator) and role-play the roundtable.
